Two tools with different starting points

A profit dashboard mainly answers one question: "What do I actually keep?" PPC software answers a different one: "What should I change in my campaigns right now?" Both questions belong to a healthy Amazon business, and the two kinds of tools overlap in a few places. That is why "sellerboard or Sellantica?" is often the wrong question.

That does not mean sellerboard has nothing for PPC. It does have its own PPC features, and you will find them with sources in the next section. The honest question is: are they enough for you, or do you want a tool built entirely around campaigns?

What sellerboard offers according to its own website (as of Oct 16, 2026)

Everything in this section comes from sellerboard itself and is valid as of October 16, 2026. Features change, so please check them directly with sellerboard.

  • Profit analytics first: On its homepage, sellerboard describes itself as a profit analytics tool for Amazon sellers. The page lists inventory management, review requests, PPC optimization, listing change alerts, refunds for lost inventory, and user and rights management as further tools.
  • Bids by goal: According to its PPC page, sellerboard automates bidding for goals such as new product launch, organic sales support, or profit maximization. You set a target ACOS or profitability and choose a strategy (fast, moderate, slow, or custom). sellerboard calculates break-even ACOS and a bid for each keyword.
  • Advertising tied to product costs: In its help center article on the PPC dashboard, sellerboard explains that advertising data is combined with product costs, Amazon fees, and refunds. It offers bid recommendations that you can accept one by one or in bulk.
  • Smart Portfolios: According to the sellerboard blog, you pick products, a shared daily budget, and a goal (target ACOS or target margin). sellerboard then creates automatic and manual keyword discovery campaigns, moves well-performing search terms over, pauses or excludes unprofitable ones, and shifts budget between campaigns.
  • Three automation modes: According to the bid automation guide, you set each campaign to Off, Test, or On. In Test mode, sellerboard calculates recommendations that you review and approve. In On mode, changes are applied automatically. You can set minimum and maximum bids.
  • Search term recommendations: On its recommendations page, sellerboard describes suggestions to promote well-performing search terms and to block poorly performing ones. You can approve them one by one or in bulk. Each recommendation shows the rule that triggered it.
  • Day Parting: On Oct 8, 2026, sellerboard introduced Day Parting in its blog: bids for Sponsored Products keywords follow the day of the week and time of day, in four six-hour blocks per day. Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and product targets are not supported at this stage according to that post.
  • Inventory planning: According to its help center, the Inventory Planner shows days of stock and reorder recommendations and lets you create shipment plans and purchase orders.

You can find sellerboard's prices and trial terms at sellerboard.com. We deliberately do not list them here so that nothing outdated appears on this page.

Important

The table shows what each side describes, not which tool is "better." The fastest way to see how the features perform in your account is to test both with your own data.

When sellerboard alone is a good fit

sellerboard may be the better fit if these points apply to you:

  • You mainly care about the numbers: profit, costs, refunds, and inventory in one place.
  • You need additional tools such as listing change alerts or refunds for lost inventory.
  • Letting bids follow one goal (target ACOS or target margin) automatically is enough for you.
  • You want profit and advertising in a single tool, and sellerboard's PPC features cover your needs.

If that sounds like you, you do not automatically need a second tool. Test sellerboard's PPC features with your account before you add anything. To see which target ACOS fits your costs, use the break-even ACoS calculator.

When to add a PPC tool

A dedicated PPC tool pays off when advertising is your main topic and you want more help with the campaigns themselves. sellerboard covers some of this with Smart Portfolios as well. The difference is mainly how you work: suggestions with reasoning and approval, hourly data, and an autopilot where you can still stop changes before they go live.

  • Bids: You do not want to touch every bid across many keywords yourself, but you still want to understand why a bid changes.
  • Keyword harvesting: Good search terms from Auto and Broad campaigns should move into your Exact campaigns without you digging through reports every week.
  • Negative keywords: Search terms that only cost money should stand out before the budget is gone.
  • Campaign setup: New products should start with a clean structure instead of building everything by hand each time.
  • Autopilot with a safety net: Changes run on their own, but you stay in control.

What Sellantica delivers for Amazon PPC

Sellantica is built to steer your Amazon advertising. Here is what is inside:

  • Suggestions with reasoning and approval: You see why Sellantica suggests something and decide what gets applied, one by one or in bulk.
  • Autopilot with a safety net: If you do not want to approve changes one by one, you turn on autopilot. The safety net consists of an objection period, daily limits, and the ability to undo changes.
  • Optimization for profit: With product costs on file and your Seller Central account connected, bid steering follows profit, not just ACoS.
  • Keyword harvesting: Search terms get a quality rating (high, medium, low), and negative keywords are detected.
  • 1-click campaign setup: Auto, Broad, Exact, and ASIN targeting in one step, with preview and approval.
  • Product P&L and inventory planning: See profit per ASIN and plan FBA/FBM inventory.
  • Hourly data: Intraday data via the Amazon Marketing Stream is included in every plan.
  • MCP connection: You can connect Sellantica to any AI assistant that supports MCP. Changes happen only after preview and approval.
  • Hosting in Germany: Built and hosted in Germany.
Good to know

Optimization for profit works only with product costs on file and your Seller Central account connected. You can add them via upload or Google Sheet. Without costs, Sellantica cannot calculate profit.

Using both together

A profit dashboard and a PPC tool do not exclude each other. A sensible setup can look like this: you keep your view of the whole business in the tool you like best for that, and let Sellantica handle the part that touches your campaigns. The one thing to watch is that bids are steered by one tool. If two tools change the same bids at the same time, they get in each other's way. So check which tool sets the bids for which campaigns. FAQ: Common questions about the sellerboard alternative

Is there a sellerboard alternative for Amazon PPC?

Yes, if you want a tool built entirely around Amazon PPC. According to its own website, sellerboard is a profit analytics dashboard for Amazon sellers with its own PPC features, up to automated bid and keyword management. Sellantica is AI-assisted Amazon PPC software with bid suggestions, keyword harvesting, negative keyword detection, 1-click campaign setup, and autopilot with a safety net. You can also run both side by side.

Does sellerboard have PPC features?

Yes. According to sellerboard's website and help center (as of Oct 16, 2026), it offers bid automation by target ACOS or profitability, search term recommendations, Smart Portfolios, and Day Parting for Sponsored Products keywords. Please check the details directly on sellerboard.com.

Do I need both sellerboard and Sellantica?

Not necessarily. If a profit dashboard with PPC features is enough for you, sellerboard alone may do. If advertising is your main topic and you want help with bids, keyword harvesting, negatives, and campaign setup, you can add Sellantica.

How does autopilot with a safety net work?

In autopilot, Sellantica applies changes without you approving each one. The safety net consists of an objection period, daily limits, and the ability to undo changes. Alternatively, you stay with suggestions that come with reasoning and approval.

Does Sellantica steer by profit or by ACoS?

With product costs on file and your Seller Central account connected, bid steering follows profit, not just ACoS. Without product costs, Sellantica cannot calculate profit.

Is there a free trial and what does Sellantica cost?
