Control Amazon PPC with AI Assistants: the Sellantica MCP Connector
With the Model Context Protocol (MCP) you connect Sellantica to any MCP-compatible AI assistant. You ask in plain language about campaigns, search terms, profit and inventory, and have changes prepared that only take effect after your explicit approval.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants access external data sources and tools. An MCP server exposes functions and the assistant calls them when needed. The Sellantica server is not tied to a single AI vendor: any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP can connect.
What you can do with the connector
- Report on campaigns, ad groups, keywords, product targets and search terms with spend, sales, ACoS, CTR and CPC.
- Have optimization suggestions, budget, placement and dayparting proposals and the settings behind them explained.
- Review harvesting candidates, negatives, the structure audit and product coverage.
- Analyze profit and loss (P&L) at ASIN and account level as well as inventory risk.
- Prepare changes (bids, keywords, negatives, campaigns and more) that only take effect after your approval.
Example questions for your AI assistant
- “Which campaigns spent more than €100 in the last 30 days with an ACoS above my target?”
- “Which search terms should I add as exact keywords?”
- “For which products is advertising eating the margin?”
- “Prepare negatives for search terms without conversions.”
How you stay in control
Every change follows three steps: prepare (a preview, nothing changes), approve (explicit confirmation for exactly that preview) and execute (the approved change is queued). Access is read-only by default; you grant write permissions per operation and Amazon profile and can revoke them at any time. Sign-in uses OAuth, and personal API tokens are available for scripts. Every call is logged.
How to connect your assistant
Server URL: https://app.sellantica.ai/api/mcp. Add it as a remote MCP server in your AI client, sign in to Sellantica and choose the permissions. The full guide with all tools is in the MCP documentation.
